As of January 11,2025 the North Node and the South Node shifted OUT of Aries/Libra axis and into Pisces Virgo axis. Remember, the Nodes aren’t actually visible planets in the sky so much as they follow the transit of the Moons experiment of Eclipses moving in a particular area of our solar system. Due to the nature of the moon eclipses are monumental celestial events and often have long standing collective impact as well as personal impact.
The Nodes in Astrology are importance because they can teach us a lot about our path generationally, culturally and personally. The placement of the nodes within our charts can give us insight to important thematic lessons that could be revenant in self mastery. Often times when discussing the nodes, there’s a belief that one is more filled out than another and that’s a misconception. Personally I believe the North Node and The South Node are equally important in recognizing where we come from in order to look toward where we’d like to be, specifically as it relates to themes surrounding karma and free will. Depending on what you believe about the two subject previously mentioned you are either frowning or intrigued and this is great because this energy is here to make us think.
Specifically, The South Node is a representation of natural gifts and talents that we were given. If past lives are a belief of your some say this is where the energy of the South Node comes from, for others it can represent an ancestral state or generational journey taken as a family to aid the growth of themselves and those that Weill come after them. Some even believe this energy is where we can find ourselves STUCK without much growth at all due rot the nature of patterns a d even themes of Nature vs Nurture. You’ll often hear this is “An area of your chart you should leave behind” and that’s simply inaccurate. I believe that more than anything you’re supposed to recognize the strength and weakness of your south node and use them accordingly. Part of growing is recognizing our limits and this is where rhe South Node teaches us a lot.
In the case of this cycles Eclipse the South Node is in Virgo so, Mercury is the planetary ruler of these series of South Node eclipses. Naturally, Mercury is the planet that moves backward the most often and so I foresee this making the transits of these eclipses potentially more difficult especially when mercury is retrograde. Since Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the revision doesn’t hurt but, we a sign that prefers to get it right the first time all the time this can bode for quite difficult times. There’s a mix of energy showing up now especially when we examine the role of Mercury in Virgo snd how it shows up:
Fact checkers: if something in the water ain’t clean, Virgo will find it. The thing is sometimes, you simply are off and need to mind your own facts. Don’t get embarrassed being dead ass wrong.
Reexamination of habits/routines/health: what if you learned that the way you’ve been taking care of your body up to this point doesn’t. Actually serv you? Beware of some “sure things” turning out to be of shaky truth and making you ask yourself if you’re doing more harm than good by following a certain regime.
Sometimes, your gut is off: how will you respond to being wrong and/ or hypercritical about something and not being accurate? Being corrected doesn’t inherently mean you’re bad! It’s a reminder you’ve got room to grow and that someone care abwegig to want you to do better.
People pleasing is OUT: you aren’t anyone’s puppet you’re a human being. Anyone who makes you feel like you’re not enough (even you) needs to be interrogated. You deserve better.
You can’t save em all!: I regret to inform you but, some people truly do not possess the desire to become better. You may really want to help them but, you need to examine why you think you know better than them in the first place and, if they even asked for that. Some people are uncoachable don’t waste your energy on them.
You live in your body, make sure you’re comfortable: obsessions be damned throughout this cycle! The more you stress yourself the more it will manifest in your body in ways that stop your functioning and are likely to aid in further stress. You don’t need to worry about what isn’t yours and being hyper critical about what you can’t change in others isn’t worth it. Move on.
HEALTH
This is a very important aspect to discuss when we’re talking Eclipses. The Moon and The Sun are both representations of our humanity with regard to our existence. The Moon is how we exist in the physical and how that connects to our emotional and spiritual nature. The Sun is how we exist in our life functions. Themes surrounding vitality, health, wealth and outward success are in the realm of The Sun. Eclipses ask that we learn to blend the focus through oppositions and conjunctions within this energy to learn how to best exist within ourselves. Reaffirming your relationship with the doctor is a great idea! Sexual health will also be a major theme to keep up with if you’re lazy about it.
Mercurial eclipses have a lot to do with variability. Mercury is strong at multiplication, duplicity, details and of course technology and information. We can experience a lot of health struggles surrounding: nervous disorders, disgestive issues, hyperactivity,mental breakdowns, respiratory ailments, dissociative, obsessive compuaolive disorders,immune system aggravations and lymphatic issues are common themes with this energy. It’s very important to do what you can to control your mentality to the best of your abilities.
Jupiterian Eclipses have a lot to do with achievement. When it comes to Jupiter, we generally assume “long time coming” developments regarding health especially as it pertains to the nature of indulgence. Jupiter eclipses are prone to give us focus on: the liver, kidneys,glucose, mental health issues abound here as well related to memory. Sudden audits and micromanaging or financial affairs could be financially strenuous. With a sharper eye drawn to finances, you may become more tightfisted with yourself or others. Your spending could surround more practical items
For some , this is the time to get your finances together. You’re ready to sit down with the right people to support you in the way you want your finances to become more of a habitual routine expectation instead of living by whims. New long term goals could be discovered and a study of finances could come into play. New careers in management,analytics,HR,organizational management, and Human Resources could flourish. The healthy industry could see a swing in practitioners.
Jupiterian Eclipses can bring in shifts of circumstances that are more drastic in nature. These are BIG events that shift the direction of your life and not always in the most conventional of ways. Jupiter is about windfalls. This can bring about sudden inheritances and sudden opportunities that open you up for great abundance in a tangible way. This can also bring a sudden change of fortune that feels too big to handle but brings you some form of spiritual abundance on the other side. RELATIONSHIPS: Yes, you can meet your soulmate under the scope of this energy. BOOM! For my true romantics out there this will feel great but, you will be tested in your romantic interests. Although people could be prone to glazing over most of the details of your past because your just so fucking pretty, others will be more concerned with growth or lack there of that you exhibit in your relationships. Others will have to come to terms with their people pleasing ways and recognize that they’ve been in relationships to fix people who ar not supposed to be healed by them. Knowing who and how to move away from people who want unhealthy dynamics to be the foundation of their relationships. Saturn will be copresent either in conjunction with the North Node or in direct opposition to the South Node in this transit. Saturn delays, rewards and sometimes destroys; sometimes fantasies are just that.
Mercurial Eclipses in relationships will usually bring forward new facts,communication,movements and dynamic shifts into play. Couples might learn something new about one another that causes reflection of themselves and their relationship. The sibling that a path met has or any extended family may become more important on in an eclipse like this. Lucky for us, only the beginning the this transit finds Jupiter in its detriment, Gemini. This does find us connecting with like minds but, they may be more flighty than what Jupiter would prefer. In June when Jupiter moves into Cancer, its exaltation we see the security that can come into relationships that sustain us and those who may come after either familiarly or intimately. Ancestral relationships will grow under this transit especially. People will feel a desire to expand and explore their frame of reference for familial roots.
